ALL TOURS DEPART FROM MAIN LOBBY AND ARE PAYABLE BY ROOM CHARGE OR CASH.

 

***Pick up your coloring contest page and Photo Scavenger Hunt lists at the Front Desk. Crayons are available to borrow.  Turn in color contest no later than Noon Thursday.

 

Monday, October 20th, 2014

9:00AM  Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT) Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where she will update you on all of our activities, local events, and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts offered to guests that attend.

11:00AM  5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get orientated with the area. Minimum of four people required to go on this tour. LincolnNHHP

2:00PM  5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get orientated with the area Minimum of four people required to go on this tour.

4:15PM Brewery Tour at Woodstock Brewery ($5 includes pint glass! Payment is taken care of at the Woodstock Station. Optional dinner following, which you order off the menu and pay on your own.) Take some directions from the lobby and head over to the Woodstock Station! There will be a short demonstration and a showcase of their products. Woodstock Inn Brewery has won several national awards for its ales especially Pig’s Ear Brown that has won the National Beer Tasting Championships two years in a row..  Children are welcome and can sample some of their homemade Root Beer. Minimum of 8 required and a maximum of 24 people are allowed for this trip. Directions will be provided to the Woodstock Station. Station is also open daily at Noon for same tours! woodstockstation1

 7:00PM Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Franconia Notch, Rated G. Learn all about our famous Franconia Notch State Park in all its seasons.  We will supply the popcorn!

 

Tuesday, October 21st, 2014

8:30AM  Morning Walk to Loon Mt. and back.  Let’s get those muscles moving! Join Cassie for a nice walk to Loon and back alongside the Pemigewasset River.  Approx. 2 miles round trip.loonpath

10:00AM Bridges, Lunch and Wine Tasting at Windy Ridge Orchard ($20 per person includes Lunch & Wine Tasting) Join us as we head west of Lincoln to Windy Ridge Orchard in North Haverhill, NH. We will have lunch there at the Cider House Café. All sandwiches are made from locally produced products. Afterwards we will stop at 2 covered bridges!   And America’s Oldest General Store!  Then we’ll swing up over Sugar Hill as we make our way back.  brickstore1

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing The Bucket List. Rated PG-13.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Wednesday October 22nd, 2014 

9:15AM COG Railway ($48 per person.) This trip will be in a caravan format.  Must have a minimum of 20 participants to take tour and get group rate. If we have 20+ guests for and extra $10 cash we can take the big bus and have an extended tour!!  Join Cassie as we head up to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast.  LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE, All sign ups are final as of day before tour. 3:30PM  Decoupage Plates/Jars.  $3-$7 per plate, depending on size.  Come down to the Fun Factory to make a collage of your vacation onto plates! This one of a kind craft is sure to capture your week here in the White Mountains!  Or spruce it up with some colorful fall leaves you’ve collected during your stay and use a mason jar for a candle holder!!! 5:00PM  Bingo!  $1 per board.  Meet in the Sales Presentation room for a fun filled hour of Bingo. Must have 6+ guests to participate.  We play for prizes!

 

 

 

Thursday October 23rd, 2014

9:00AM  Flume Gorge.  $15 per person.  Put your walking shoes on and Join Cassie on this amazing adventure through the Flume Gorge! We’ll stroll 2 miles through the Flume checking out beautiful waterfalls and amazing covered bridges! flumegorge

1:30PM  Apple Tote Bags/Shirts.  $3 per bag, or $5 per shirt.  Join Cassie in the Fun Factory to make a colorful tote bag with apple designs!

4:15PM  Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale!  Bring your photos by the Adventure Concierge Desk to see who took the best, most, and creative pics!!! Prizes will be awarded!!!

4:30PM Coloring Contest Winners Announced!!! Meet in the Game Room to see if your page made it to the Wall of Fame!   Prizes will be awarded!

6:30-8:00PM      S’mores!!!  (FREE EVENT)  Join Cassie outback by the fire ring for some sticky goodness! We’ll be making S’mores Galore!!! (weather permitting)s'mores

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Everybody’s Fine, Rated PG-13. We will supply the popcorn.

 

Friday, October 24th, 2014

9:00AM  Hike to Sabbaday Falls & Rocky Gorge($5 per person) Join us as we head out on the Kanc over to Sabbaday Falls. Sabbaday Falls is a 3/4 mile round trip hike up to a 3 tiered waterfall!! Most of the trail is flat, except for one small hill. Rocky Gorge is a smaller gorge with a good sized waterfall a few miles down the road from Sabbaday Falls. This scenic area in the Swift river is not something you want to miss! Please wear appropriate footwear.sabbadayfallsspring

1:00PM  Sand Art.  $1-$7 depending on size of bottle.  Join Cassie in the Fun Factory for this summer time favorite!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Frozen, Rated PG. We will supply the popcorn.

 

Saturday, October 25th, 2014

9:00AM Suggested Walk to Loon Mt.  Approx. 2 miles.  Take a nice 2 mile round trip walk alongside the Pemigewasset River over to Loon Mt. and back.

5:30PM  Suggested Sunset Trip…Take I-93 North to Exit 34C.  Take a right off exit and drive until the bridge.  Park and walk out onto bridge for a stunning sunset!sunset1

4:00PM-7:00PM Chair Massage.  $20 for 15 minutes.  What a way to end your week here with us! Enjoy a fantastic chair massage from Balanced Rock Bodyworks Massage!
