ALL TOURS DEPART FROM MAIN LOBBY AND ARE PAYABLE BY ROOM CHARGE OR CASH.

 

***Pick up your coloring contest page and Photo Scavenger Hunt lists at the Front Desk.  Crayons are available to borrow.  Turn in color contest no later than Noon Thursday.

 

Monday, February 2^nd, 2015

9:00AM  Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT) Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where she will update you on all of our activities, local events, and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts offered to guests that attend.

11:00AM  5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get orientated with the area.  Minimum of four people required to go on this tour. 

2:00PM Homemade Bath Fizzies. ($4 each craft) Plop Plop Fizz. Join Cassie in the Fun Factory to make this wonderful Bath Fizz.  We’ll use essential oils and special ingredients for this craft that is sure to make anyone’s tubby time a relaxing one!  Great for Gifts too!!

7:00PM Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Mr. Poppers Penguins, Rated G.  We will supply the popcorn!

 

Tuesday, February 3^rd, 2015

9:00AM  Glass Painting. ($4 per glass)  Meet in the Fun Factory to let your imagination run wild with colorful paints on a wine glass!

11:00AM  Hike/snowshoe at the Basin! ($5 per person or $15 per snowshoe available on a first come first serve basis)  Limited to 13 people for bus.  Join Cassie as she takes you to Franconia Notch State Park to walk around in the winter wonderland at the Basin!  The Basin is a large geological pothole over 30’ wide!  A beautiful stroll through the woods and by the river as well.  Please dress warmly and wear appropriate footwear, trail may be icy.

4:00PM-7:00PM  Chair Massage.  ($20 for 15 minutes)  What a way to end your week here with us!  Enjoy a fantastic chair massage from Balanced Rock Bodyworks Massage!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing National Treasure, Rated PG.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Wednesday February 4^th, 2015 

12:00PM  Snowshoe Tour at the Flume Gorge. ($5 per person or $15 per snowshoe available on a first come first serve basis)  Bundle up and join Cassie for a snowshoe trek through the Flume Gorge.  We’ll go over a covered bridge and take a peek at the beautiful waterfall.  A Wonderful walk through a winter wonderland of snow covered trees! (Must have 4 people attending to take tour)

3:00PM  Sledding at the Kanc Rec Center.  Free Event! (Weather Permitting)  Meet in the lobby to grab some sleds and head down the road to the Kanc Rec Center for good ol’fashioned sledding fun!  Space limited to 13 guests on bus, sledding for approximately an hour. 

4:30PM  Wii Karaoke.  Free Event!  Bring your singing voices down to the Fun Factory for a fun game of Wii Karaoke.  Will play for approx. an hour.

5:45PM  ZUMBA!!! ($13 per person, payable cash only. No outside shoes allowed in studio. Please make sure to pack appropriate sneakers to wear for class, must have a minimum of 4 participating guests to take tour) What a perfect way to end your day by dancing those post holiday calories away!!! Transportation will be provided over to North Woodstock to Live a Little Fitness, where Margarita will instruct us in various Zumba dances for all levels. Zumba is the perfect combination of fun and exercise! Class lasts one hour.

7:00PM  Bingo.  ($1 per board)  (Must have 8+ guests to participate to play game)  Meet Cassie in the Sales Presentation room for an hour long fun game of Bingo.  We will play for prizes.

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Napoleon Dynamite, Rated PG-13.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Thursday February 5^th, 2015

3:30PM  Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale!  Bring your photos by the Adventure Concierge Desk to see who took the best, most, and creative pics!!! Prize will be awarded!!!

3:45PM  Coloring Contest Winners Announced!!! Meet in the Game Room to see if your page made it to the Wall of Fame!  Claim your prize at the front desk!!!

4:00PM  Ice Skating at Loon Mountain!!! ($8 rink fee, $18 skate rental fee, includes rink fee, payable cash or credit card at Loon Mountain.  Must have a minimum of 5 guests participating to take tour.  Please specify skate size on sign-up sheet)  Bundle up and join Cassie for some skate rink fun over at Loon Mountain!  Transportation will be provided, maximum of 13 guests in bus, caravan format if bus fills up. Skating lasts one hour.

5:15PM  Teddy Bear Picnic.  Free Event.  Have the lil’ones bring their favorite teddy bear to the Main lobby, by the fireplace, for some stories and popcorn!  Approx. ½ hour reading time.

6:00PM  ICE CASTLE TOUR!!! (Discounted Adult Rate of $7.50!! $5.50 per child. Tour will last approx. 1 hour, must have minimum of 4 participating guests to take tour. Bundle up for a ride over to the Hobo railroad to check out their first ever Ice Castle!! During the night an array of multicolored lights transform the castle into a frozen Narnia.

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Night at the Museum, Rated PG.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Friday, February 6^th, 2015

11:00AM  Bridges Galore Tour!! ($10 per person) Some stores are cash only. Please plan accordingly. Join us as we head west of Lincoln on a nice drive past Beaver Pond Scenic area. After a short visit there we’ll head onto view 3 covered bridges along with more surprise stops on our roundabout way back!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Frozen, Rated PG.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Saturday, February 7^th, 2015

Anytime  Suggested Walk to Loon Mt.  Approx. 2 miles.  Take a nice 2 mile round trip walk alongside the Pemigewasset River over to Loon Mt. and back.

Anytime  Suggested Sledding at the Kanc Rec Center!  Sign out the sleds at the Front Desk, take 3 immediate rights out of our driveway and sled away!!!

Anytime  Rock Climbing at North Country Climbing Center.  US Route 302, Lisbon NH 03585.  Call 603-838-5300 for more pricing and climbing availability. 

3:00PM   Suggested Sunset Trip…Take I-93 North to Exit 34C.  Take a right off exit and drive until the bridge.  Park and walk out onto bridge for a stunning sunset!  The sun sets behind the mountains to the west at this time of year, but the alpenglow and colors in the sky can be quite amazing!

4:00PM-7:00PM  Chair Massage.  ($20 for 15 minutes)  What a way to end your week here with us!  Enjoy a fantastic chair massage from Balanced Rock Bodyworks Massage!

4:30PM   Yoga!  ($13 per person) Head on over to Live a Little Fitness in North Woodstock for some wonderful yoga.  Great way to end your week here in the White Mountains! Class lasts approx. one hour.
