***Pick up your coloring contest page and Photo Scavenger Hunt lists at the Front Desk.  Crayons are available to borrow.  Turn in color contest no later than Noon Thursday.

 

Monday June 22nd, 2015

9:00AM  Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT) Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where she will update you on all of our activities, local events, and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts offered to guests that attend.

11:00AM   5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get oriented with the area.  Minimum of four people required to go on this tour.  LincolnNHHP

2:00PM  5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go, this tour is mainly for the overflow of the 11am tour.  Please try to sign up for first tour if available) Minimum of four people required to go on this tour. 

7:00PM   Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Franconia Notch.  Learn all about the Franconia Notch State Park before you head out to enjoy it! We will supply the popcorn!

7:00PM  Exploring your Creativity Workshop!!!  The class fee is $35. Lynne needs a minimum of 4 people registered to hold a class. Class fees are non-refundable. We will be creating an 8 x 10 canvas, in our 2 hour class. Explore different techniques, tearing, crumpling and spraying to create our canvas background. Under Lynne’s guidance we will be “rolling and coloring” our flowers to create our beautiful floral array. Your hands may get a bit messy with paint but you will leave the class with a feeling of fulfillment and a completed piece of beautiful home decor. Join Lynne for an evening of creativity, laughs and a good time! Seating is limited so register early.  Maximum of 10 guests, ages 18+ only.  creative workshop

 

Tuesday June 23rd, 2015

8:30AM  Tennis Clinics for ages 5-15.  $15 per hour. Join our Tennis Pro Hayden Roma out at the courts for a fun filled lesson!  Please sign up in advance.  You can also book other times by calling 603-254-5344 and speaking to Hayden personally.

9:30AM  Paddle Board Excursion at Mirror Lake.  $40 per person, 1 hour lesson time. Join Cassie in the lobby for a ride down to Mirror Lake where we will meet up with Stacey Caulder, a Reiki, Yoga, and Paddle Board Master!  Bring a towel and swim suit, get set to get wet!!!  For all ability levels, only 5 spaces available.  supriver

9:00AM   Hike at Sabbaday Falls & Rocky Gorge ($5 per person)  Join us as we head out on the Kanc over to Sabbaday Falls. Sabbaday Falls is a 3/4 mile round trip hike up to a 3 tiered waterfall!! Most of the trail is flat, except for one small hill. This is a very scenic area with a beautiful waterfall! Rocky Gorge is a smaller gorge with a good sized waterfall a few miles down the road from Sabbaday Falls. This scenic area in the Swift river is not something you want to miss! Please wear appropriate footwear!  Must have four people attending to take the tour.sabbadayfallsspring

1:00PM-3:00PM    Poolside Volley Ball.  The volley ball net will be set up in the pool for a couple hours should anyone feel the need to play!!

2:00PM  Teddy Bear Picnic. Join Sarah in the main lobby for some story time fun!  Approx. ½ hour reading time.  We’ll provide popcorn!!!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Gravity, Rated PG-13.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Wednesday June 24th, 2015

9:15AM  COG Railway ($28 per person.) This trip will be in a caravan format, meaning you will follow over in your own vehicle.  Must have a minimum of 20 participants to take tour and get group rate. Join Cassie as we head up to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast.  LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLEcog1

2:00-4:00PM  Lawn Games!  Meet outback by the playground for some fun games ranging from bean bag toss, ladder ball, disc jam, pole-shoes, and a few others!  Games will be set up for approx. 3 hours.  This is an unsupervised event.  You may also sign out Lawn Games from the Front Desk at any time during your stay here!lawngames

3:30PM  Horseshoe Tourney, Minimum of 4 guests to play.  Meet Cassie down back by playground for a fun round of shoes!

5:10PM   Suggested ZUMBA!!!  (Class reservations highly recommended.  Reserve your spot at www.livealittlefitness.com) ($13 per person, payable cash only) (No outside shoes allowed in studio.  Please make sure to pack appropriate sneakers to wear for class) Directions will be provided over to North Woodstock to Live a Little Fitness, where Margarita will instruct you in various Zumba dances for all levels.  Zumba is the perfect combination of fun and exercise!  Class lasts one hour.zumba logo

6:30PM   Sand Art.  $1-$7 depending on size of bottle.  Join Cassie in the Fun Factory for this summertime favorite!

7:30PM  Campfire!  Free Event. Weather Permitting!  Meet outback by the playground for some fireside fun!  smores2

This 3+ hour tour will take you all over northern New Hampshire looking for MOOSE! But this is no ordinary bus ride, filled with bubble machines, disco lights, and many other fun things to make the ride that much more fun! Thursday June 25th, 2015

9:00AM  Flume Gorge and Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway Trip!!  $30 per adult, $24 per children ages 11 and under, 5 and under free.  Put your walking shoes on and Join Cassie on this amazing adventure through Franconia Notch State Park! We’ll stroll 2 miles through the Flume Gorge checking out beautiful waterfalls and amazing covered bridges!  Then we’ll head over to Cannon Mt. and hop aboard the 80-passenger Aerial tramway, which makes a quick ascent 2,180 vertical feet to the 4,080’ summit.  On clear days, you can see views of four states and Canada!   Must have a minimum of 4 to take tour.  Maximum of 13 to fit on bus, caravan format after 13 guests. cannontramflumegorge

3:00PM  Ice Cream Social!!!  I Scream you Scream, we all Scream for Ice Cream!!!  $4 per bowl.  Meet outside of main lobby on wooden walkway overlooking the pool for some sweet stuff!  We’ll have lots of flavors and tons of toppings!!!icecream1

4:00-8:00PM  Chair Massage!  $20 for 15 minutes.  What a great way to end your week here with us.  Enjoy a nice chair massage from Balanced Rock Bodyworks!  She’ll be set up right in the main lobby!

5:00PM  Tie Dye T-shirts ($6 per shirt—$4 if you have your own) Meet at the parking lot outback above the playground to make a tie dye t-shirt. We have shirts of all sizes, but you’re welcome to bring your own. We will have a variety of colors to create your tie dye masterpiece!tiedye

7:00PM   BINGO!!!  $1 per board! Must have a minimum of 6 guests to play.  We play for prizes for an hour in the Sales Presentation room.

7:00PM    Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of The Hunger Games – Catching Fire, Rated PG-13.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Friday June 26th, 2015

10:30AM   Field Trip Friday!!! Enjoy Lunch and Wine Tasting at Windy Ridge Orchard ($20 per adult, $15 children under age 21,  If you are following behind in own vehicle price will then be $15 adults, $10 child.)  Join us as we head west of Lincoln to Windy Ridge Orchard in North Haverhill, NH.  We will have lunch there at the Cider House Café. All sandwiches are made from locally produced products. Afterwards we will stop at 2 covered bridges!  And America’s Oldest General Store! We’ll make our way back over Sugar Hill checking out the beautiful scenery and more surprise stops along the way!!!730

4:00PM  Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale!  Bring your photos by the Adventure Concierge Desk to see who took the best, most, and creative pics!!! Prize will be awarded!!!

4:15PM Coloring Contest Winners Announced!!! Meet in the Game Room to see if your page made it to the Wall of Fame!  Claim your prize at the front desk!!!

7:00PM Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Big Hero 6, Rated PG.  We will supply the popcorn.

8:00PM  Suggested Sunset Trip…Take I-93 North to Exit 34C.  Take a right off exit and drive until the bridge.  Park and walk out onto bridge for a stunning sunset!  sunset

8:30AM   Pop Yoga!  ($13 per person) Head on over to Live a Little Fitness in North Woodstock for some wonderful yoga.  Great way to end your week here in the White Mountains!
