ALL TOURS DEPART FROM MAIN LOBBY AND ARE PAYABLE BY ROOM CHARGE OR CASH.

***Pick up your coloring contest page and Photo Scavenger Hunt lists at the Front Desk.  Crayons are available to borrow.  Turn in color contest no later than Noon Thursday.

 

Monday October 19th, 2015

9:00AM Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT) Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where she will update you on all of our activities, local events, and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts offered to guests that attend.

11:00AM  5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get oriented with the area. Minimum of four people required to go on this tour. PLEASE NO CELL PHONES DURING TOUR. DSCF0824

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Franconia Notch. Learn all about the Franconia Notch State Park before you head out to enjoy it! We will supply the popcorn!

7:00PM  Exploring your Creativity Workshop!!! The class fee is $35. Lynne needs a minimum of 4 people registered to hold a class. Class fees are non-refundable, all sign ups are final as of noon today! We will be creating an 8 x 10 canvas, in our 2 hour class. Explore different techniques, tearing, crumpling and spraying to create our canvas background. Under Lynne’s guidance we will be “rolling and coloring” our flowers to create our beautiful floral array. Your hands may get a bit messy with paint but you will leave the class with a feeling of fulfillment and a completed piece of beautiful home decor. Join Lynne for an evening of creativity, laughs and a good time! Seating is limited so register early. Maximum of 10 guests, ages 18+ only. lynnefall

 

Tuesday October 20th, 2015

10:30AM Travel Tuesday!!  Enjoy Lunch and Wine Tasting at Windy Ridge Orchard ($20 per adult, $15 children under age 21.  If you are following behind in own vehicle price will then be $15 adults, $10 child.)  Join us as we head west of Lincoln to Windy Ridge Orchard in North Haverhill, NH. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and tasty wine.  Afterwards we will stop at 2 covered bridges and America’s Oldest General Store! We’ll make our way back over Sugar Hill checking out the beautiful scenery and more surprise stops along the way!!!! Return time approx. 4PMwindyridgesteam

Wednesday October 21st, 2015 

9:15AM  COG Railway ($48 per person.) Must have 24 hours notice of any cancellations. This trip will be in a caravan format, meaning you will follow over in your own vehicle.  Must have a minimum of 20 participants to take tour and get group rate. Join Cassie as we caravan over to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast. 1:00PM   Teddy Bear Picnic.  Free Event.  Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the main lobby by Mr. Moose.  Cassie will read books for approx. ½ hour and kiddos can snack on popcorn and juice.

2:00PM  Glass Painting. $4 per wine glass. Meet Cassie in the Fun Factory to get creative with paints!glasspaint2

4:00PM  Decoupage Jars/Plates.  $4 per craft.  Create memories on a plate or jar this one of a kind way.  If you’d like gather some ferns, colored leaves, etc. and we’ll decoupage that on a jar too!DSCF0861

5:00PM-9:00PM Suggested, Fired on the Mountain, paint your own pottery!  Ladies Night, Price of pottery varies, discounted $4 studio fee applies.  Take a right out of driveway and head approx. ¼ mile down to Fired on the Mountain, (Depot Plaza on left) for some painting fun!  Pick your piece of pottery, paint away and pick it up Saturday afternoon or $10 shipping fee applies.

5:10PM  Suggested ZUMBA!!!  (Class reservations highly recommended.  Reserve your spot at www.livealittlefitness.com) ($13 per person, payable cash only) (No outside shoes allowed in studio.  Please make sure to pack appropriate sneakers to wear for class) Zumba is the perfect combination of fun and exercise! Class lasts one hour.

7:00PM Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Grown Ups, Rated PG-13. We will supply the popcorn.

 

Thursday October 22nd, 2015

9:00AM  Old Man Viewing and a walk at the Basin! ($2 per person)  Limited to 13 people for bus, must have a minimum of 6 to take tour. Join Cassie as she takes you to Franconia Notch State Park to check out the Old Man of the Mountains viewing area as well as a nice walk to the Basin.old man

3:00PM  Coloring Contest Winners Announced!!! Meet in the Game Room to see if your page made it to the Wall of Fame! Claim your prize at the front desk!!!

3:15PM  Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale!  Bring your photos by the Adventure Concierge Desk to see who took the best, most, and creative pics!!! Prize will be awarded!!!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Walk the Line, Rated PG-13.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Friday October 23rd, 2015

9:00AM   Hike at Sabbaday Falls & Rocky Gorge.  $2 per person, must have minimum of 6 guests to take tour.  Join Cassie as we head out on the Kancamagus Highway over to Sabbaday Falls. Sabbaday Falls is a 3/4 mile round trip hike up to a 3 tiered waterfall!! Most of the trail is flat, except for one small hill. This is a very scenic area with a beautiful waterfall! Rocky Gorge is a smaller gorge with a good sized waterfall a few miles down the road from Sabbaday Falls. This scenic area in the Swift river is not something you want to miss!!!sabbadayfallssummer

6:00PM Suggested Sunset Trip…Take I-93 North to Exit 34C.  Take a right off exit and drive until the bridge.  Park and walk out onto bridge for a stunning sunset sunset34c

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of The Last Song, Rated PG. We will supply the popcorn.

 

Saturday October 24th, 2015

8:30AM  Pop Yoga!  ($13 per person) Head on over to Live a Little Fitness in North Woodstock for some wonderful yoga.  Great way to end your week here in the White Mountains! Anytime   Suggested Walk to Loon and back.  Enjoy a brisk walk over to Loon Mt. and back along the paved path.  Approx. 2miles.

4:00-6:00PM  Chair Massage!  $20 for 15 minutes.  Enjoy a nice chair massage from Balanced Rock Bodyworks!  She’ll be either in main lobby or poolside!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Rated G.  We will supply the popcorn.
