ALL TOURS DEPART FROM MAIN LOBBY AND ARE PAYABLE BY ROOM CHARGE OR CASH.

***Pick up your coloring contest page and Photo Scavenger Hunt lists at the Front Desk.  Crayons are available to borrow.  Turn in color contest no later than Noon Thursday.

 

Monday November 2nd, 2015

11:30AM  Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT) Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where she will update you on all of our activities, local events, and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts offered to guests that attend.

2:00PM  5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get oriented with the area.  Minimum of four people required to go on this tour. PLEASE NO CELL PHONES DURING TOUR. lafayette1

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Franconia Notch. Learn all about the Franconia Notch State Park before you head out to enjoy it! We will supply the popcorn!

 

Tuesday November 3rd, 2015

9:30AM  Hike at Sabbaday Falls & Rocky Gorge. ($2 per person)  Join Cassie as we head out on the Kancamagus Highway over to Sabbaday Falls and Rocky Gorge Scenic Areas. Sabbaday Falls is a 3/4 mile round trip hike up to a 3 tiered waterfall!! Most of the trail is flat, except for one small hill. Rocky Gorge is a smaller gorge with a good sized waterfall a few miles down the road from Sabbaday Falls. This scenic area in the Swift River is not something you want to miss!!!sabbadayfallssummer

1:00PM  Glass Painting.  $4 per wine glass.  Meet Cassie in the Fun Factory to get creative with paints!

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing The Notebook, Rated PG-13.  We will supply the popcorn.

 

Wednesday November 4th, 2015           

9:15AM  COG Railway ($28 per person.) Must have 24 hours notice of any cancellations. This trip will be in a caravan format, meaning you will follow over in your own vehicle.  Must have a minimum of 20 participants to take tour and get group rate.  Cog is not guaranteed to go to the top of Mount Washington.  Weather Depending. Join Cassie as we caravan over to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast. 1:00PM  Teddy Bear Picnic.  Free Event.  Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the main lobby by Mr. Moose.  Cassie will read books for approx. ½ hour and kiddos can snack on popcorn and juice.

2:00PM   Decoupage Jars/Plates.  $4 per craft.  Create memories on a plate or jar this one of a kind way.  If you’d like gather some ferns, colored leaves, etc. and we’ll decoupage that on a jar too!

5:00PM-9:00PM Suggested, Fired on the Mountain, paint your own pottery!  Ladies Night, Price of pottery varies, discounted $4 studio fee applies.  Take a right out of driveway and head approx. ¼ mile down to Fired on the Mountain, (Depot Plaza on left) for some painting fun!  Pick your piece of pottery, paint away and pick it up Saturday afternoon or $10 shipping fee applies.

5:10PM  Suggested ZUMBA!!!  (Class reservations highly recommended.  Reserve your spot at www.livealittlefitness.com) ($13 per person, payable cash only) (No outside shoes allowed in studio.  Please make sure to pack appropriate sneakers to wear for class) Zumba is the perfect combination of fun and exercise! 5:30PM  BINGO!  ($1/per board.  Must have a minimum of 8+ guests to play) We play for approx. 1 hour for prizes. Meet in the Sales Presentation Room.

7:00PM  Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing Walk the Line, Rated PG-13. We will supply the popcorn.

 

Thursday November 5th, 2015

10:30AM   Wreath Making at the Green Thumb Nursery!  $28 per 12” wreath.  After greenery is on, wreath is approx. 24” wide!!  All decorations included in price and there are many to choose from!!! Must have a minimum of 6 guests to take tour out. Get in the holiday spirit and join Cassie to create your own unique door size wreath.  All greenery and decorations included, and let’s not forget the hot cocoa.  A True New England experience!!! 7:00PM  Exploring your Creativity Workshop!!! The class fee is $35. Lynne needs a minimum of 4 people registered to hold a class. Class fees are non-refundable, all sign ups are final as of noon Wednesday! We will be creating an 8 x 10 canvas, in our 2 hour class. Explore different techniques, tearing, crumpling and spraying to create our canvas background. Under Lynne’s guidance we will be “rolling and coloring” our flowers to create our beautiful floral array. Your hands may get a bit messy with paint but you will leave the class with a feeling of fulfillment and a completed piece of beautiful home decor. Join Lynne for an evening of creativity, laughs and a good time! Seating is limited so register early. Maximum of 10 guests, ages 18+ only. lynnefall

Friday November 6th, 2015

10:30AM  Field Trip Friday!!! ($10 Per Person)   Join us as we head west of Lincoln for a Covered Bridge Galore Tour!!!  We’ll take a gander at Beaver Pond Scenic Area and Learn about a B-18 Bolo Bomber crash that took place in 1942.  Next we’ll swing by the Moose Rack, featuring a collection of local country crafts and antiques, a perfect place to get a head start on your Christmas Shopping!  We’ll then make our way to 3 covered bridges and America’s Oldest General Store! Let’s not forget a stop at the Central Freeze where we will enjoy some Frozen Yogurt!!! Finally, we’ll make our way back over Sugar Hill checking out the beautiful scenery and one more surprise stop along the way!!!! Return time approx. 3PMcoveredbridge3

3:15PM   Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale!  Bring your photos by the Adventure Concierge Desk to see who took the best, most, and creative pics!!! Prize will be awarded!!!

3:30PM Coloring Contest Winners Announced!!! Meet in the Game Room to see if your page made it to the Wall of Fame! Claim your prize at the front desk!!!

5:15PM  Suggested Sunset Trip…Take I-93 North to Exit 34C.  Take a right off exit and drive until the bridge.  Park and walk out onto bridge for a stunning sunset, the sun is now setting behind a mountain but the colors on the clouds and mountains can be quite spectacular!!!  sunset34c

7:00PM   Movie Night!  Free Event.  Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of The Davinci Code, Rated PG-13. We will supply the popcorn.

 

Saturday November 7th, 2015 

8:30AM  Suggested Pop Yoga!  ($13 per person) Head on over to Live a Little Fitness in North Woodstock for some wonderful yoga.  Great way to end your week here in the White Mountains!
