ALL TOURS DEPART FROM MAIN LOBBY AND ARE PAYABLE BY ROOM CHARGE OR CASH.

***Pick up your coloring contest page and Photo Scavenger Hunt lists at the Front Desk. Crayons are available to borrow. Turn in color contest no later than Noon Thursday.

 

Monday, May 9th, 2016

9:00AM Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT) Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where she will update you on all of our activities, local events, and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts offered to guests that attend.

11:00AM   5¢ Tour of Lincoln & Woodstock Area (FREE EVENT – Only 13 can go) Join Cassie as she shows you around the Lincoln & Woodstock area. She will show you restaurants, hiking locations, and a few other places of interest that will help you get oriented with the area. Minimum of four people required to go on this tour. Please sign up in advance. PLEASE NO CELL PHONES DURING TOUR. Another tour will go out at 2PM for overflow of 11am tour. LincolnNHHP

7:00PM  Movie Night! Free Event. Come down to the lobby for tonight’s showing of Franconia Notch. Learn all about the Franconia Notch State Park before you head out to enjoy it! We will supply the popcorn!    

 

Tuesday May 10th, 2016

9:00AM  Hiking at Sabbaday Falls and Rocky Gorge.  ($5 per person) please sign up in advance. I must have 4+ people attending to take tour.   Let’s go enjoy a beautiful morning along the Kancamagus Highway!! This scenic highway was dedicated as the first of the National Scenic Byways in the northeastern U.S. for its recreational opportunities and aesthetic, cultural and historical values. We’ll drive about half way over and stop at Sabbaday Falls, a short walk to a beautiful 3 tiered waterfall and flume! Next stop is Rocky Gorge Scenic area, a nice walk along the swift river and over a bridge to Falls Pond.  Both hikes approx. ¾ miles long and we’ll stop along many other view points along the way.  Pack a snack and water, and of course your camera!  The Moose are starting to come out! You never know we may see one!!!

1:00PM  Spring Plantings in a mason jar. $4 per jar. Please sign up in advance. Let’s get our hands dirty with this fun project!plantings

6:00PM-9:00PM Paint and Sip Night at Pollard!! $35 per person, ages 7+ with accompanying adult. Bring your own favorite beverage. Payable cash only!!! Includes 12X24 MDF board, paints, brushes, instruction and tons of fun!! Must have minimum of 7 guests signed up in advance to hold class. Signups are final as of Noon day of event. Last minute cancellations will be charged accordingly. VOTE FOR YOUR PAINTING OF CHOICE!!!

Wednesday May 11th, 2016

9:00AM  Hiking at the Basin!  ($5 per person) please sign up in advance.  Let’s bundle up again and enjoy a wonderful spring stroll alongside the Pemigewasset River to the Basin! The Basin is a large geological pothole spanning 30’ wide and approx. 15’ deep.  Beautiful water features along the way! I must have 4+ people attending to take tour.

12:30PM  Teddy Bear Picnic. Free Event. Please sign up in advance. Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the main lobby by Winston the Moose. Cassie will read books for approx. ½ hour and kiddos can snack on popcorn and juice.

1:00PM  Glass Painting. $4 per wine glass. Please sign up in advance. Create your own masterpiece!glasspaint3

9:00AM  Flume Gorge ($15 Adult, $12 ages 6-12) Please sign up in advance. 13 maximum on bus. I must have 4 guests attending to take tour. Put your walking shoes on and Join Cassie on this amazing adventure through the Flume Gorge. This 2 mile round trip walk will bring us over 2 covered bridges, and past beautiful waterfalls, and of course right through the gorge itself!  A trip you don’t want to miss!flumegorge

1:00PM    Homemade Bath Fizzies. ($5 each craft) Please sign up in advance. Join Cassie in the Fun Factory to make this wonderful Bath Fizz. We’ll use essential oils and special ingredients for this craft that is sure to make anyone’s tubby time a relaxing one!  Great for Gifts too!! (Ingredients needed to produce craft include peanut oils)

2:00PM   Glass Etching. $5 per craft, if you bring your own glass craft is $3 each. Please sign up in advance. Create a one of a kind glass or jar with all sorts of stencils to choose from!

3:00PM   Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale! Bring your photos by the Adventure Concierge Desk to see who took the best, most, and creative pics!!! Prize will be awarded!!!

3:15PM  Coloring Contest Winners Announced!!! Check out the Game Room to see if your page made it to the Wall of Fame! Claim your prize at the front desk!!!

Friday May 13th, 2016

10:00AM  Field Trip Friday!!! ($10 Per Person) Please sign up in advance Join us as we head west of Lincoln for a Covered Bridge Galore Tour!!! We’ll take a gander at Beaver Pond Scenic Area and Learn about a B-18 Bolo Bomber crash that took place in 1942. Next we’ll swing by the Moose Rack, featuring a collection of local country crafts and antiques, a perfect place to find a great homemade item! We’ll then make our way to 3 covered bridges, learning the history about them all!! Let’s not forget to stop for lunch at the Central Freeze! Frozen Yogurt is on the menu there! If you’d like to have a regular lunch please feel free to pack snacks/food. And finally, we’ll make our way back over Sugar Hill checking out the beautiful scenery along the way!!!! Return time approx. 3PM

Times Differ:    Suggested Fitness Classes at Live a Little Fitness!!! (Class reservations highly recommended. Reserve your spot at www.livealittlefitness.com) We offer a variety of amazing classes to help you meet your fitness goals and we welcome EVERYONE to join us!  It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert or if you’ve never tried it before, our certified instructors will happily guide you through each class at a pace that is right for you! (No outside shoes allowed in studio. Please make sure to pack appropriate sneakers to wear for class)

7:00PM  Suggested Sunset Trip…Take I-93 North to Exit 34C. Take a right off exit and drive until the bridge. Park and walk out onto bridge for a stunning sunset, the sun is now setting behind a mountain but the colors on the clouds and mountains can be quite spectacular!!! sunset34c

Saturday May 14th, 2016

Mon – Fri: Noon to 10pm / Sat: 10am to 8pm / Sun: 10am to 6pmrock climb

9:15AM  COG Railway ($29 per person.) This trip will be in a caravan format, meaning you will follow over in your own vehicle.  Must have a minimum of 20 participants to take tour and get group rate. Bundle up as the temperature can be up to 30* difference. Join Cassie as we head up to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top (weather depending) where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast.
