9:00AM – Daybreak Orientation (free event): Meet in the Main Lobby for approx. one hour of information regarding daily activities, resort amenities, and local offerings. Complimentary pastries & coffee (first-come, first-served).

11:00AM – 5¢ Tour of Lincoln, Woodstock, and Franconia Notch (free event): Allow us to familiarize you with the local area. Departs from the Main Lobby. *A second tour leaves at 2PM.

1PM – Guided Hike around the summit of Cannon Mountain (includes a ride on the Cannon Aerial Tramway): On a clear day you may observe four states and Canada during this 30-minute hike at over 4,000′ above sea level. $19 per person (additional $7 for snowshoes, $5 for micro-spikes, or $2 for Yak Traks). Please note: Be prepared for high elevation conditions; appropriate footwear and outerwear are a must.

 3PM – Teddy Bear Picnic (free event): Join us in the Main Lobby for half an hour of story time. We’ll provide popcorn and juice boxes.

CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
Whichever 10AM tour has the most sign-ups will win.

10:00AM – Covered Bridge and General Store Tour: $10 per person. We’ll explore three historic covered bridges, two general stores, scenic vistas, and have lunch at the Gather Together Café (lunch not included in price). Approx. return time 2-3pm.  

 

10:00AM – Guided Hike to Kilburn Crags: Climb a steady incline to the top of a crag overlooking the sweet little town of Littleton NH.  If skies cooperate you’ll see sweeping vistas of the white mountains including Mount Washington. Afterwards we’ll warm up with a coffee and lunch in the town of Littleton! Tour is approx. 1.5 miles (round-trip). $8 per person (additional $7 for snowshoes, $5 for micro-spikes, or $2 for Yak Traks). Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. Meet in the Main Lobby. Return to resort approx. 2pm-3pm.

12:15PM – Snow Tubing at Waterville Valley:
Unlimited tubing for 2 hours. There is no lift service (you must walk to the top of the hill). $15 (ages 6+), $10 (5 & under). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Return to resort approx. 4pm.

1:00PM – Homemade Playdough: Make your own aromatherapy playdough. Meet in the Fun Factory. There will also be playdough playtime after the craft. $5 per craft.

4:45PM – Sleigh Ride: Enjoy this traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride on the scenic property of the Franconia Inn. Limited space; 6 participants maximum. Blankets will be provided during the approx. 30-minute ride with classic views of Mt. Lafayette (the tallest mountain outside of the presidential range). $23 per person.

12:30PM – Guided Hike to the Sugar Hill Cabin: Take in sweeping vistas of the Franconia and Presidential mountain ranges during this 1.5-mile (round-trip) walk through the secluded community forest of Sugar Hill, NH. $8 per person (additional $7 for snowshoes, $5 for micro-spikes, or $2 for Yak Traks). Limited space.

10AM – Guided Hike to the Basin: Hike approx. 1 mile (round-trip) to a series of waterfalls in Franconia Notch State Park. $8 per person (snowshoes, micro-crampons or yak traks are available for an additional fee). Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. Meet in the Main Lobby. Approx. 2+ hours total tour time.

2PM – Guided Hike to the Sugar Hill Cabin: Take in sweeping vistas of the Franconia and Presidential mountain ranges during this easy to moderate hike (one mile round-trip) in the picturesque and historic mountain town of Sugar Hill, NH. Limited space. $8 per person (snowshoes, micro-crampons or yak traks are available for an additional fee). Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. 7-8PM – Live Acoustic Music (free event): Enjoy the musical stylings of Paul Hubert. Paul highlights exciting original tunes and unique covers, distilling a wide range of American musical forms from folk and blues to old-timey and pop into a truly personal, one-of-a-kind style. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20TH

Choose your own adventure!  The choice is yours, whichever tour has the most signups will win and the adventure will begin!

10AM – Covered Bridge and General Store Tour: $15 per person. Join us for covered bridge journey!  We’ll see 3 covered bridges, 2 general stores, have lunch or a latte at Gather Together Café and enjoy scenic vistas Approx. return time 3:30pm. Caravan format after 13 participants: Our bus has 13 seats (first-signed up, first-served), but you may follow in your own vehicle after that.

OR

10AM – Guided hike at Lincoln Woods. We’ll venture out for a nice walk alongside the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River. Approx. 2+ miles. Easy trail. $8 per person (additional $7 for snowshoes, $5 for micro-spikes, or $2 for Yak Traks).

 
5PM – Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides: $18/adult (ages 14+), $15/children (ages 3-13) – CASH ONLY. Approx. 30-minute excursion at nearby Maple Haven Campground. Meet in the Main Lobby for transportation. Weather permitting. Appropriate outerwear recommended.

10AM – Guided Hike at the Flume Gorge: Hike approx. 2-miles (round-trip) amongst cliffs and waterfalls in one of the most scenic crown jewels of the region. $8 per person (snowshoes, micro-crampons or yak traks are available for an additional fee). 12:30PM – Teddy Bear Picnic (free event):  Join Cassie in the lobby for half an hour of story time. We’ll provide popcorn and juice!

1PM – Holiday Shopping in Littleton, NH: Enjoy complimentary transportation to the most walk-able main street in the region where you’ll find unique boutiques, antique shops, and the famous candy shop Chutters (home of the world’s longest candy counter). Return to resort approx. 4:00pm or earlier. Limited space.

4:30PM – Indoor S’mores and Hot Cocoa: Join us in the Main Lobby for some sweet treats. $1 for two s’mores. Choose from Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies & Cream, or traditional Hershey’s. Complimentary hot cocoa.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22ND

1:15PM – Tubing at the Clubhouse in Waterville Valley! $15 ages 6+ , ages 5 and under $10. Transportation provided. Unlimited Tubing for 2 hours. No lift. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Return time approx. 4:30pm-5pm.

5:45PM – Coloring Contest Awards & Photo Scavenger Hunt Finale: Pick up your coloring pages from the main lobby and return them to the Front Desk before Saturday morning. Meet in the Game Room at 5:45pm, to see if you made our wall of fame; don’t forget to bring your photos and list!

 

7PM – Guided Full Moon Hike. Join Jack on a guided hike underneath the Full Moon! Free Event! Additional charge for any winter gear needed.
